Despite going just 3-4 this week, the Phillies’ bats were more powerful than they have been all season, putting up a .496 SLG, third-best in the Majors. They were able to do that thanks to Domonic Brown, who went 12-27 (.444) this week with seven homers, eight extra-base hits, and 13 RBI’s. His performance earned him the top spot on our top hitting performances of the week and his first appearance on the list this season.

After two dominant performances this week, the Phillies also saw their ace pitcher, Cliff Lee, make the list of top pitchers. Lee has not just been pitching well this week, but has actually been our top-ranked pitcher of the last 30 days, going 5-0 in six appearances over that time span while posting a 1.54 ERA and 40 strikeouts to just six walks.
